Automation consulting
Hi, I'm Nikita.
I'm a Senior Software Engineer who helps small teams automate repetitive reporting, spreadsheet, Jira, SQL, and data workflows.
I've spent 8+ years building backend systems, APIs, and data workflows — and I know how much time teams waste copying data between tools, fixing CSV files, and preparing the same reports every week.

LinkedInI can help when your team is:
These are the kinds of tasks that take hours every week and can usually be automated in a few days.
- copying Jira tasks into Excel every week
- cleaning messy CSV files by hand
- updating Google Sheets reports manually
- running the same SQL queries and formatting results
- combining data from multiple sources
- preparing weekly reports for managers or clients
- moving data between tools by copy-paste
If it happens every week, it can probably be automated.
Example
Jira to Excel weekly report
Before
Every week, someone exports Jira issues, pastes them into Excel, manually cleans columns, groups tickets by status and assignee, and sends the report. It takes 1–2 hours each time and depends on whoever is available to do it.
Automation
A script connects to the Jira API, pulls the current sprint's data, applies the same grouping and formatting logic, and outputs a clean Excel file — saved locally or sent automatically on a schedule.
Result
The report runs in seconds. It's consistent, doesn't depend on who runs it, and the person who used to spend two hours on it every Friday gets that time back.
Built in Python. Typically takes a few days to set up and test.
Why work with me
A software engineer, not an automation agency.
I'm not a generic automation agency using no-code tools and pre-built templates. I'm a software engineer who can understand messy real-world workflows, write code when needed, connect APIs, work with databases, and build a small solution that fits how your team actually works.
Most of the automations I build aren't complex — they just require someone who can write a Python script, query a database, call an API, and put it together cleanly. That's what I've been doing for 8+ years in backend engineering.
I work on small, specific problems. I don't oversell scope. I build the simplest thing that works and explain clearly what it does.

Get in touch
Describe your manual workflow.
Send me a short email describing the task your team does repeatedly. I'll reply with whether it can be automated and what a simple first version could look like.
What to include:
- —What task do you repeat?
- —What tools are involved?
- —How often does it happen?
- —What output do you need?
- —What makes it annoying today?
